It was my husband and my 32nd anniversary yesterday, wow, were does the time go? We celebrated with a great dinner at "Crush 29" .(thanks to the suggestion from my son, Tom)  We scored a cozy seat by the fire and had a delicious meal of mushroom bisque, roasted pear salad, duck spring rolls and pizza. Well, we made it back from Arizona, safe, sound, and freed from quite a bit of pain! It was a week full of tests, 129* weather, monsoons, a little relaxation and spinal surgery. Crazy!! That laser surgery is one huge, short of a miracle, procedure. We would highly recommend checking out the Laser Spine Institute to anyone suffering with back problems. We've been busy packing, moving and unpacking my daughter and her family. But we did manage to get to the Lake Oswego market one last time before the move, even had a beautiful day! This weekend we're packing for the big move to Vancouver, WA,  bright and early Tuesday morning. Grand-baby Alex is ready: Just like his Mommy and Uncle, twenty three years ago: I'm definitely squeezing in some good baby hugging time in between the boxing! Some of you know that my daughter and her family (my 2 month old grandson-woohoo) live in Lake Oswego, right outside of Portland. Well, they are starting another new chapter in their lives! J got a great new job in Vancouver, WA and they are moving from a (nice) apartment, to a LARGE rental home. It is walking distance to his job and the grocery store and Starbucks. Yah! So, I am going up

The gardens are finally shaping up. The cool rainy spring has started to warm up,  flowers are blooming, things are moving into place. I've been loving card making lately! The problem is, it doesn't come naturally to me. Each one takes about 4 hours of arranging, rearranging, looking at pictures, rearranging.........I think it's a good thing I don't do this for a living. $40.00 for a card?!?! Not going to happen. I think handmade cards are WAY undervalued!!! And I am so glad some of you ladies sell beautiful cards for the times
