Thanks to all of you wonderful, helpful bloggers, like
Studio Waterstone , and numerous others, I can finally sew in a zipper! (with the lining) After 30 some years of sewing, you'd think that would be a piece of cake by now! Anyway, I have been having fun making clutches lately. The size works out so well with some of the smaller fabric and leather upholstery samples I have collected .
These is a sampling of the clutches I have made lately (some of them for sale in my
Etsy store )

Wow I learned to do a ziiper in 7th grade, made the Homec teacher made. But I knew how to sew and that's what I wanted to learn, other wise I found the class Boring.
I'm glad you're enjoying yourself.
Ok, I know How to sew in zippers, but not with the lining AND I don't like to do it! LOL! I still remember my home ec dress! Aline, raglan sleeve, green with blue dots and a back zipper! Cute!!
I can do zippers, but I don't like doing them. I'd much rather do button holes! The clutches are gorgeous!!!
love your new work xxx
